OUR MINISTRIES

Evangelism Ministry

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
(Matthew 28:19-20)

Thanks be to God for His grace. We are Disciples of Christ, and we should all want to be used of God to help others become saved. It is our job to share our faith and to win souls for the Kingdom.  Faith sharing is part of our worship to God. When we share our faith we are glorifying and exalting God above everything! God has blessed us so much, we must be His witnesses.
It is the plan of the Evangelism team of Bethel African Methodist Church, to go into our community as Christians, to tell all that Jesus saves. There are many ways of doing evangelism or faith sharing in the Church, we have chosen to do (1) literature canvassing and (2) face to face witnessing.
Literature Canvassing is the opportunity to walk the neighborhood and share our faith, by dropping off literature and church materials, so the community will know who we are and what we do.
Face to face witnessing is when a team will knock on doors of private residences within a particular geographic area, engaging in face-to-face personal interaction and sharing the gospel.
Evangelism Prayer Warriors  will be those who stay behind in the church, interceding for those who are out witnessing.
For those who have a desire to evangelize, there will be classroom training.
